Welcome to Clean and Greens. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and subscriptions. By accessing our website, booking services, or subscribing to our cleaning plans, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Clean and Greens ("we," "us," or "our") is a residential cleaning service operating in London, UK, providing eco-friendly cleaning solutions and related add-ons. We are committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable services tailored to your needs.

1. Services Provided

We offer residential cleaning services for apartments and houses, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, bathroom and kitchen sanitization. Optional add-ons include window cleaning, deep fridge/oven cleaning, and laundry folding/ironing. All services use eco-friendly, biodegradable products with the exception of viakel for tougher limescale areas (customers must let us know if 100% eco-friendly is a preference).

Services are provided on-site at your location within London boroughs. We operate as a home-based business, with the owner or trained staff performing the work.

2. Subscriptions

Our services are available on a subscription basis, typically monthly, with automatic renewal unless canceled.

Subscription Plans: Plans are based on property size (e.g., £170 per month for weekly cleaning of a 1-bedroom flat). Details are provided at signup.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly) unless you cancel in accordance with Section 6.

Modifications: You may upgrade, downgrade, or add services to your subscription at any time, effective from the next billing cycle.

Eligibility: Subscriptions are available to individuals aged 18 or older residing in London.

We reserve the right to modify subscription terms, pricing, or availability with 30 days' notice via email or our website.

By subscribing, you authorize Clean & Greens to charge your chosen payment method automatically each month for your selected plan (£170 for 1 bedroom, £200 for 2 bedrooms, or £240 for 3 bedrooms). Payments will continue on a monthly basis until you choose to cancel, in line with our Terms & Conditions. You’ll always receive confirmation of your subscription by email.

3. One-Off Services

In addition to our regular subscription plans, we also offer one-off cleaning services, including Deep Cleans, End of Tenancy Cleans, and Pre-Tenancy Cleans. These services are not part of the monthly subscription and are billed separately at the time of booking. Customers may request any of these one-off services at any time, regardless of whether they hold a subscription.

4. Payment

Billing: Payments are processed via secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). You authorize us to charge your provided payment method for the subscription fee, plus any applicable taxes or add-ons.

Frequency: Monthly in advance, on the 1st of every month.

Prorated Payments: If you subscribe partway through a month, your first payment will be prorated. This means you’ll only be charged for the remaining portion of that month, based on the number of days left until the next billing cycle on the 1st. Full monthly billing will then begin on the following month.

Failed Payments: If payment fails, we may suspend services until resolved. Late fees of £10 may apply after 7 days.

Currency: All charges are in GBP (£).

Taxes: Prices exclude VAT unless stated; you are responsible for any applicable taxes.

5. The Fruit and Vegetable Basket Program

As a unique perk for active subscribers, we gift a monthly basket of fresh fruits and vegetables, sourced from local sustainable suppliers, to promote health and eco-friendliness.

Eligibility: The basket is provided free of charge to subscribers who maintain an active subscription for the full billing cycle.

Delivery: Baskets are delivered to your door at the end of each billing cycle, typically after your last scheduled clean for the month.

Contents and Value: Baskets include seasonal produce valued at approximately £15-£20. Contents may vary based on availability and are not customizable.

Cancellation Impact:

 If you cancel your subscription earlier than 1 week before the renewal date (i.e., providing more than 1 week's notice), you will not be entitled to the fruit and vegetable basket for the upcoming billing cycle.

If you cancel after your last scheduled clean in the current billing cycle, the fruit and vegetable basket will still be delivered to your door for that cycle.

Substitutions: We may substitute items due to supply issues but will aim to maintain equivalent value and quality.

Allergies and Preferences: You are responsible for informing us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at signup. We cannot guarantee allergen-free baskets.

This program is subject to availability and may be discontinued with 30 days' notice.

6. Allergies and Dietary Requirements

The complimentary fruit & vegetable basket provided with each subscription is sourced from trusted suppliers and may vary monthly depending on seasonal availability.

Clean & Greens cannot guarantee that any basket will be free from allergens. Produce may have been handled, stored, or transported alongside items containing allergens such as nuts, seeds, celery, or other common triggers.

Customers with known food allergies or contact sensitivities should handle all produce with caution. Clean & Greens does not accept liability for any allergic reactions or health issues resulting from contact with, or consumption of, the items supplied.

Customers remain responsible for managing their own allergies and sensitivities, including avoiding produce that may pose a risk.

7. Promotion: First-Month Discounted Cleaning Subscription

Offer details:

£150 for 1-bedroom properties

£180 for 2-bedroom properties

£220 for 3-bedroom properties

Valid for the first month of a new customer’s regular cleaning subscription.

Eligibility: Offer applies only to new customers booking a weekly regular cleaning plan.

Available to residential customers located within London.

Only one promotional rate per household.

Not valid for one-off cleans, deep cleans, or end-of-tenancy cleans.

Duration of Promotion: The offer is valid for bookings made up to the last customer of the first 5 customers that subscribe to our weekly services

The discounted rate applies only to the first month (4 weeks) of service.

Regular subscription rates will apply automatically from the second month onward at the standard pricing in effect at that time.

Payment & Subscription: Payment for the first month must be made in advance to secure the promotional rate.

The cleaning subscription renews automatically on a monthly basis unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation Clause of this promotion below.

All subsequent months are billed at standard rates unless another valid promotion is applied.

Cancellation: Customers may cancel their subscription with at least 7 days’ notice prior to the next billing cycle.

If the subscription is cancelled before the end of the first month, no partial refunds will be issued.

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@cleanandgreens.co.uk or through the contact form on our website at www.cleanandgreens.co.uk.

Service Conditions: Each weekly clean includes up to 2 hours of standard cleaning (or as specified in the customer’s plan).

Additional time, deep cleaning, or special requests may incur extra charges.

The customer must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time.

Missed or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.

Fair Use & Limitations: This promotional offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, voucher, or offer.

Clean & Greens reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice.

Pricing is based on standard property conditions; excessively soiled or unusually large properties may be subject to reassessment and quotation.

General: All services are subject to Clean & Greens’ standard cleaning terms and conditions.

By booking the service, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these promotional terms.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing info@cleanandgreens.co.uk or through your account portal. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing cycle unless otherwise specified.

  - To avoid charges for the next cycle, provide at least 1 week's notice before the renewal date.

 - No partial-month refunds; services continue until the cycle ends.

Refunds: Subscriptions are non-refundable except in cases of our material breach or as required by law. Refunds, if approved, will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days.

Trial or Introductory Offers: Any free or discounted trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.

No-Show or Access Issues: If we cannot access your property for a scheduled clean (e.g., no entry), it counts as completed, with no refund.

9. Scheduling and Changes

Booking: Services are scheduled via our website or email. We aim to accommodate your preferred times but cannot guarantee availability.

Rescheduling: You may reschedule with 48 hours' notice without charge. Shorter notice may incur a £20 fee.

Delays: We are not liable for delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances, but will notify you promptly.

10. Customer Responsibilities

Access: Provide safe, unobstructed access to your property. Remove valuables and ensure pets are secured.

Supplies: You must provide basic equipment like a hoover and mop; we supply eco-friendly cleaning products.

Health and Safety: Inform us of any hazards (e.g., allergens, structural issues). You agree to comply with our safety protocols.

Conduct: Treat our staff respectfully; we reserve the right to terminate services for abusive behavior.

11. Liability and Warranties

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from these Terms or services is limited to the amount paid for the affected service in the past 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Warranties: Services are provided "as is." We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. No other warranties, express or implied.

Damage: We are not responsible for damage to property unless caused by our gross negligence. Report any issues within 24 hours of service.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures due to events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, natural disasters).

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (logos, text, images) is owned by us or licensed. You may not reproduce or use it without permission.

13. Privacy

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on our website) and UK GDPR. By using our services, you consent to such processing.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through mediation before litigation. You agree to exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
